The Boulevard Veterinary Clinic, located in North Little Rock, AR is
seeking to hire a full-time DVM.
The Boulevard Veterinary Clinic has been serving the community since 2012 as a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to dogs and cats. Our fully-equipped facility was designed with the client's comfort and their pet's health in mind. Here at the Boulevard Veterinary Clinic we consider our clients and their pets apart of our family. About the Clinic
• Conveniently located facility with three exam rooms, treatment area, surgery suite, ICU, and boarding quarters.
• In-house laboratory capabilities for select blood, urine, fecal, and tissue diagnostics tests.
• Isoflourane anesthesia with fully equipped surgical suite for routine surgeries including surgical monitoring capabilities (pulse, respiratory rate, ECG).
• Ultra-sonic dental equipment and plans to add a digital dental radiography.
• Complete in-house pharmacy –large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the newest products.
• Species specific areas where patients can be hospitalized and/or boarded.
• Newest version ClientTrax Management Software.
• Office hours:
o Monday through Friday - 7:00am to 6:00pm
▪ Closed from 1:00pm to 2:00pm daily
o Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm.
o No after hour or holiday on call, referred to Emergency Hospital near by

o A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
o License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board.
o Proven ability to perform all basic surgeries, including use of all standard medical instruments and equipment.
o Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes; perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a way that will deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
o Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pet’s problems; generate and present a treatment plan for the pet to the client; educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products.
o Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.
o Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine, attend Continuing Education meetings.
o Ensure the safety of pets, clients and team members by utilizing safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols, and maintaining clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exam rooms and labs.
o Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
o Ensure all practice policies, protocols and quality assurance guidelines and local, state and federal laws are followed, including proper maintenance of the controlled substance inventory log.
o Positively represent the hospital in the professional community and to the general public.
o Other duties as assigned.
