North Hills Animal Hospital is a privately owned veterinary practice in Sherwood, AR. Our practice owner/full time DVM and associate DVM combine many years of experience to bring the best care to our patients and clients. Our team of receptionists and technicians are knowledgeable, thorough and friendly.
As our hospital is evolving and flourishing, we would like to add an additional associate to our team. We are in search of a full time veterinarian to fill the coveted role at our hospital. We are open to a mentorship or seasoned veterinarian. We love to learn skills and evolve our protocols with new knowledge. We look forward to the collaboration and input a new associate will offer us all.

1:3 – 1:5 doctor/technical staff ratio
6 receptionists, 6 technical staff (CVTs and OTJ trained), 2 client coordinators, 1 practice manager – technical staff is continuing to grow
Each doctor has their own office upstairs

We practice not only preventative medicine but we also provide a full service hospital. We manage long term diseases, hospitalize patients, perform urgent and emergency surgery, perform orthopedic surgery, and see our client emergencies during business hours.
The types of surgeries performed include but are not limited to: spay, neuter (including cryptorchid), mass removal, mastectomy, preventative gastropexy, cystotomy, enterotomy, gastrotomy, splenectomy, caesarian section, GDV surgery, TTA-MMP, Ridgestop, Ex Cap repair, some fracture repair, diaphragmatic hernia repair, umbilical hernia, stenotic nares resection, soft palate resection, aural hematoma repair, etc.

The receptionists at North Hills are skilled in multi-tasking and client communication. Our clients appreciate their kindness and understanding. We arrange our wellness appointments two months in advance. This allows the receptionist team the space to schedule sick, urgent and emergency patients.
Our technical staff embodies a wide array of educational backgrounds, vast skills and devotion to their patients. The technicians value themselves for being their patients’ number one advocate. Our clients recognize the bond the technicians have with their pets and boast about us online and to their friends.
As most of our staff are Fear Free Certified, we practice in a stress free, calming environment. We make every effort to help our patients enjoy a positive experience with us. We offer a wide variety of treats, toys and distractions for each pet.
Holiday parties are our favorite! We dress up in a joint theme for Halloween. We have an Ugly Sweater contest at our Christmas party. We love celebrating our birthdays too!
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from an accredited university
Current DEA license or obtained upon hire
Active State Veterinary License or obtained upon hire if relocating
