PT/FT VETERINARIAN/MEDICAL DIRECTOR FOR HV/HQ NON-PROFIT SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC
Help make a difference for underserved pets in Central Arkansas! Arkansans for Animals, Inc.’s Operation Save, located in Little Rock, is seeking a licensed veterinarian as a Medical Director for a busy High Volume/High Quality non-profit, 501(c)(3) spay/neuter clinic, providing an essential animal welfare service to our low-income pet owners, shelters and rescues.
Full-time Salary: $90,000 for a four-day work week with the potential to expand income to over $100,000 by providing wellness services a few times a month to underserved communities outside surgical days. Paid Time Off: 2 weeks/year plus an additional 2 weeks for Christmas/New Year’s Holidays. No weekends, after hours or holidays. Reimbursements for AR license, ArVMA dues, AVMA dues, and DEA license plus a CE allowance.
Part-time Salary is negotiable based on per diem.
Full-time Employment qualifies for the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. You are provided an office to relax in after surgery. Complete authority over medical and surgical decisions, no employee management and very minimal client contact required. The perfect candidate should be able to perform 25-30 high quality surgeries over a five-hour period per day for healthy dogs and cats (including pediatric pets) or demonstrate the ability to reach that volume with ease.
